MEPC 2020 Update

New Virtual Format Planned for 2020

Like many of you and your organizations, the Michigan Energy Providers Conference Planning Committee has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic and its potential impact on the conference. We are mindful of the devastating impacts of the virus, and out of the greatest concern for the well being of our industry friends and colleagues, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the “in-person” 2020 conference.

Instead, the conference planning committee is hard at work preparing some abbreviated, online content that is relevant to the ongoing changes in the Michigan energy industry. So save the date for July 30, 2020.  Please visit the MEPC website  for the virtual agenda and registration information.

There will be no registration fee for the online conference, although we do encourage all participants to consider supporting our non-profit partner, Detroit-based humanitarian organization, the Empowerment Plan. During this difficult time, it is more important than ever that we continue to support organizations that provide critical services and a lifeline to so many people in need. We encourage you to learn more about the Empowerment Plan and support their mission.

We look forward to a time when we can gather together once again to engage in important industry discussions. We hope you’ll all mark your calendars not only for the 2020 online conference, but for the 2021 conference, scheduled for July 28-30, 2021 at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

In the meantime, be well and stay safe.
